Personal agent websites like this one, usually include a way to search for homes on the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) using what’s called an IDX (Internet Data Exchange) but they require that you provide your contact details so the agent can “capture” your information. There’s nothing wrong with IDX powered sites, they contain the same listing information as all real estate websites but most people already have a favorite real estate search portal they’ve signed up with and it's usually one of the large and well known sites. Redfin provides the very best home search experience but instead of selling your information to random agents who pay for your information like the other sites do, we go overboard to take care of our own customers. Since you are likely already searching on Redfin or one of the others, the last thing you need is for an agent like me to provide yet another way for you to sign up to search for homes.
